Support VOI

As a non-profit organization, Victim Outreach, Inc. receives funding and support from a wide range of grants, government agencies, companies and individuals - all of which is stewarded thoughtfully and respectfully with our Mission Statement in mind: to support victims of crime and trauma.

  • we receive funding from the police departments of eight Jefferson County municipalities with which we contract to provide victim services required by the Colorado constitution
  • we receive grants from VOCA, VALE and Stop VAWA, which are local, state and federal grants funded from fines paid by convicted criminals
  • businesses and foundations make financial contributions
  • the private sector contributes through individual gifts and through ticket and auction item purchases at our annual fundraiser
  • board members make financial and in-kind contributions as part of their service to the agency
  • in-kind donations and discounts from volunteers, the police departments we serve and the business community subsidizes the our costs and include
    • donation of our current office space
    • workspace in each police department
    • digital pagers
    • office furniture
    • blankets and emergency supplies
    • stuffed animals for our "Officer Hugs" program
    • copier paper
    • color printing
  • a team of volunteers provides overnight, weekend and holiday coverage which allows us to provide 24 / 7 / 365 coverage with an advocate staff of seven
